What’s up in the AV world? Here are a few interesting pieces we’ve come across and a note about the next show we’ll attend.
- Last night’s Super Bowl was more than a football game. It was one of the most sophisticated AV events in the world. Want to learn how the University of Phoenix stadium handles their tech? Check out this description of their stadium hardware and this overview of their control process.
- While it’s not brand new, AV Network’s infographic about trends for 2015 seems right on the money, especially after CES. We’ll be seeing more screens and greater bandwidth. And the insistence that “AV devices are essentially network appliances” is right in line with the argument we’ve been making about IP: pretty soon it’s going to be a necessary part of any AV workflow.
- Finally, we’re looking forward to Integrated Systems Europe next week. Hope to see you there.
